This poster somehow reminds me of the movie. Not everyone with autism wants to be "cured", you know. Itīs not any kind of mental illness, you know. Itīs a neurological condition, a different wiring of the otherwise functioning human brain.
Reading the stuff on your poster, I immediatelly recalled the scene in which Rogue finds aout about the cure and goeas asking Professor X if itīs true. "Yes, itīs true," he confirms, and there is some sort of understanding in his eyes. But there is also Storm who interferes in the conversation of those two and aks Rogue: "Why do you want to take the cure? There is nothing wrong with you. Do you know why? Because mutacy is not an ILLNESS. You are not ill."
Do you know what I mean? I am not saying that my Aspergerīs does not cause me some serious trouble. But it is also a GIFT. Most people will NEVER be able to see the world the way I see it. Thatīs what I like about it.
